Melody's story

Melody tells the story of how her brother's colon cancer at age 37 prompted her to be screened. She was fortunate that the pre-cancerous adenomatous polyp was removed during that colonoscopy, preventing her cancer from forming. She urges, "If one person from your family is affected by colon cancer, it's very important for everyone else in your family to be screened." Colorectal cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable.
