MNGI Digestive Health is proud to have many providers that use their expertise and passion for GI care, to educate our communities and represent our organization at events throughout the year.

In fact, two nurses from MNGI’s Vadnais Heights clinic, Ashley Balma, BSN, RN, PHN and Karin Cierzan, RN, CGRN, CRNI, were selected to share their presentation on “Compassionate Care for the Chronically Ill Patient: An Overview of Gastrointestinal Infusion Therapy” at the National Infusion Nurses Society (INS) conference on April 2nd. A great deal of hard work went into the rigorous application and selection process, and their presentation proved to be impactful with a great deal of wonderful feedback from conference attendees.

INS is an international nonprofit organization that represents nurses and other clinicians who are engaged in the specialty of infusion therapy. The group is celebrating its 50th year and also helps set the standard for infusion practice around the globe. Their annual meeting included speakers from several nations and areas around the United States.

We look forward to sharing more news about the involvement of our providers in the coming months.
