Minnesota Gastroenterology, P.A. (MNGI) includes seven providers fully trained in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Premature infants through college-aged young adults are seen for a variety of digestive and nutritional illnesses. These include general problems such as malabsorption, growth failure, abdominal pain, chronic diarrhea, and constipation as well as more specific disease such as swallowing and eating problems, acute and chronic hepatitis, pancreatitis, liver disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, celiac sprue and gastroesophageal reflux. Any necessary testing and treatment to clarify the problem and/or treatment is done with the special needs of children and priority. This includes a friendly and safe environment, age and size of specific equipment, and a support staff specialized in pediatric care.
