Michelle S Kennedy, M.D.

Professional Background

Dr. Kennedy graduated cum laude from Kenyon College with a degree in Biology. She attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where she earned her medical degree. Dr. Kennedy performed both her internship and residency in pediatrics while in Cincinnati at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Following her residency, Dr. Kennedy spent three years in Japan studying nutrition research at the University of Osaka School of Medicine.

In 1994, Dr. Kennedy returned to Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati to complete a three year fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition.

Dr. Kennedy is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her special medical interests are pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, along with inflammatory bowel disease. She has had several articles published on inflammatory conditions of the intestinal tract.

In their spare time, Dr. Kennedy and her family enjoy skiing, swimming, traveling and reading.
