Professional Background

Dr. Rank completed his undergraduate work at University of Minnesota, majoring in microbiology. He received his medical degree from the same institution. His internship and residency was complete at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic. Dr. Rank finished a three year fellowship in gastroenterology at University of Minnesota. Since his fellowship he has served as Instructor in Medicine, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Interim Director, Medical Director of Endoscopy, and Co-Director of Digestive Disease Center at University of Minnesota. He has been practicing in the Twin Cities since 1981.

Dr. Rank is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
