Professional Background

Dr. Levine completed his undergraduate work at Harvard University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, majoring in biology. He received his medical degree from Yale Medical School in 1991. A native from Minnesota, he returned to complete his residency in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Levine then finished a three year fellowship in Gastroenterology, also at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Levine has participated in research studies in the areas Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He has published several articles on inflammatory bowel disease and other digestive diseases. His special medical interests include inflammatory bowel disease and colonic disorders.

Dr. Levine is board certified in Gastroenterology.
