Professional Background

Dr. Hunninghake completed her undergraduate work at St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota. She received her medical degree in 1989, from the University of Kansas, Kansas City, Kansas. Her residency and internship in internal medicine were completed at the University of Minnesota in 1992. Her fellowship was completed at the same institution. She is board certified by both American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Hunninghake has special medical interests in motility, as well as general gastroenterology.
