David A Ferenci, M.D.

Professional Background

Dr. Ferenci completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, earning his medical degree in 1984. Dr. Ferenci performed both his internship and residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology in 1989 at the same facility.

Dr. Ferenci is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology and by the American Academy of Pediatrics. His special medical interest are: pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition along with inflammatory bowel disease. He is a clinical instructor of pediatrics at the University of Minnesota.

In his spare time, Dr. Ferenci and his family enjoy water sports and skiing.
