Catherine Wolfgang, PA-C

Kate Wolfgang completed her undergraduate studies at The College of St. Benedict in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dietetics. She became certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and practiced as a clinical Registered Dietitian for 2 years.  She obtained her degree as a Physician Assistant from the UW-La Crosse – Gundersen Lutheran – Mayo Physician Assistant Program in 2004, and her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies  from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2007.  She joined Minnesota Gastroenterology in 2005 and currently provides inpatient care at Mercy, Unity and Abbott Northwestern Hospitals.

Kate is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).  She is currently serving as a member of the House of Delegates for the AAPA.

Kate enjoys running, canoeing, camping, golfing, skiing and anything outdoors with her husband and two daughters.
