Aimee M Lawson, PA-C, MHS, MBA/HCM
Professional Background
Aimee attended college at the University of Minnesota. She graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Aimee worked in the food science/microbiology industry with local companies for 2 years while preparing for Physician Assistant training. In 1999, she entered PA school at the University of South Alabama and later graduated with honors and an MHS degree in 2001. She began work at MN Gastroenterology in January of 2002. Aimee has an MBA in Healthcare Management (MBA/HCM) through the University of Phoenix.
Aimee is a board certified Physician Assistant. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).
Special interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Hepatology as well as general gastroenterology. She is also involved in research as a sub-investigator on clinical trials.
Aimee enjoys walking, biking, and being outdoors. Also spending time with family and experimenting with gourmet cooking.
