Angela Fjerstad, PA-C

Angela completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota in 2003, graduating Cum Laude.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology along with a concentration in Biomedical Studies.  After college, Angela worked as a clinic assistant with Minnesota Gastroenterology for two years.  In 2006, she began the Physician Assistant Program at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating in May of 2008.  She rejoined Minnesota Gastroenterology in the summer of 2008. 

Angela is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  She is member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).  Her special interests include hepatology and esophageal dysmotility. 

In her spare time, Angela enjoys hockey, running, cooking and reading.
