Our Commitment to Education

We support medical education for our colleagues, for the community at large and for our own professional development. Our doctors participate in hospital-sponsored clinical conferences and courses, physician meetings and teaching engagements.

Minnesota Gastroenterology physicians have clinical faculty appointments at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and are actively engaged in teaching medical students, residents and gastroenterology fellows in the Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics and Family Practice. Teaching sites include Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, St. John's Hospital and MNGI outpatient clinics.

Our physicians also participate in formal post-graduate programs sponsored by the University.
