Professional Background

Michelle completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota in 1998, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology along with minors in Pharmacology and Social Work. Michelle began the Physician Assistant Program at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, graduating in 2000. She began working for Minnesota Gastroenterology in 2000.

Mikki began her nursing career in 1989, working in the emergency room and ICU. She then transferred to the GI lab in 1996, working with patients receiving GI procedures. She later became an employee of Minnesota Gastroenterology, PA in 1999. She continued with employment while she completed her Masters degree in Nursing from the College of St. Catherines. She was board certified through ANCC in 2006 and subsequently began her career as a nurse practitioner.

Mark grew up in Southern Minnesota and stayed close to home for college. He graduated from Mankato State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From 1979-83, he worked at North Memorial Medical Center on neurology and orthopedic units. He then transitioned to work with similar patients in the private sector.

In 1985, Mark and his family moved overseas to learn French and tropical medicine. This was preparation for a position as director of nursing school in what was then Zaire.

Professional Background

Dr. Bader completed his undergraduate work in chemistry at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he also completed his fellowship in gastroenterology.

Dr. Bader is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
