Overview
Minnesota Clinical Research Center (MCRC) is a totally owned subsidiary of Minnesota Gastroenterology, PA. Our research center works with gastroenterologists dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care to patients with gastrointestinal (GI) and liver disorders.
Clinical Research Experience
Our research center is under the medical direction of Dr. Jeffrey Rank, MD. Dr. Rank is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Our Clinical Director is experienced in research management and has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years.
Minnesota Clinical Research Center was established in 1997. MCRC specializes in conducting phase II, III and IV clinical studies involving treatment for disorders of the upper and lower GI tract and liver. We conduct both adult and pediatric trials.
All of our research studies are conducted under the supervision of specialists in gastroenterology. Our physicians, who serve as Principal Investigators and Sub-Investigators, are well versed on the responsibilities and mandates required to supervise a clinical research site and to run a research trial. Our Clinical Research Coordinators are trained and experienced in all aspects of implementing, conducting and managing a clinical research study.
Minnesota Gastroenterology’s freestanding clinics and outpatient endoscopy centers allow us to offer a full range of gastrointestinal procedures including upper and lower endoscopy services, lactose breath testing, esophageal motility studies, and pH monitoring. These services allow for patients to be carefully screened for qualification into a clinical trial and followed throughout the course of their treatment and monitoring.
